On September 14, CLEO invited Professor Charles Shaw for a public lecture to discuss National Memories of an Imperial War: Commemorative Practices of World War II in Soviet and Post-Soviet Central Asia. During his lecture, Professor Shaw delved into a fascinating exploration of the enduring National Memories surrounding an Imperial War, specifically focusing on the Commemorative Practices associated with World War II in the regions of Soviet and Post-Soviet Central Asia.
